PM Modi extends warm greetings to the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram on Statehood Day

New Delhi, February 20: Today the date coincides with two states who are celebrating their statehood day- Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram in Northeast. On this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Arunachal Pradesh and Mizoram. 

In his message to Mizoram, PM Modi said “On the occasion of their Statehood Day I convey my greetings to the wonderful people of Mizoram. My best wishes for the development journey of Mizoram.” The formalization of Mizoram took place Feb 20, 1987.

 
 

Statehood day was conferred on Arunachal Pradesh on Feb 20, 1987. Wishing his “sisters and brothers” of Arunachal Pradesh, Modi in his message said: “Best wishes to the people of Arunachal Pradesh on their Statehood Day.”

“The warm nature of the people of Arunachal Pradesh is extremely endearing. I pray that the state continues to scale more heights of development,” PM Modi said.

Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju also greeted people with warm wishes saying “Greetings to all on 32nd Arunachal Pradesh "STATEHOOD DAY" I adorn beautiful headgears of various communities of Arunachal Pradesh.”

 

Thanking Prime Minister Chief Minister Pema Khandu tweeted saying “on behalf of the people of Arunachal Pradesh, I extend my heartiest thanks to Honble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji for his warm wishes & blessings on the 32nd Statehood Day..!! Jai Hind..”

 

“I extend my warm wishes and greetings to people of Arunachal on 32nd Statehood Day. Let us on this day put in best efforts to take our state ahead in all spheres of human endeavors and appeal fellow citizens to join movement to end corruption,” CM Khandu added.

 

Greeting Mizoram CM Khandu said “Warm greetings to the people of Mizoram on their Statehood day. Wishing happiness, peace and prosperity to the state and it’s people.”
