Hyderabad Municipal Corporation officially lists Municipal bonds with BSE

Hyderabad, February 22: TRS led Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has finally listed its Municipal bonds worth Rs.200 crore with Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). This move comes after the unique idea coined by GHMC officials and Young Minister KTR in order to strengthen the various development schemes with the help of new resource mobilizing initiative. On this historic occasion, Chief Secretary SK Joshi and Hyderabad Mayor Bonthu Rammohan and other officials were present.

The whopping amount raised through Municipal bonds will be exclusively used for the Strategic Road Development programme. Expressing happiness over the development, Telangana Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao took to twitter and shared the information about BSE listing. Rao congratulated GHMC officials and hoped that the civic body would hit the target of Rs 1,000 Cr.
