Big B is still on-board, Makers of Narasimha Reddy rejects media reports; shooting to resume from March

Hyderabad/Mumbai, February 22: Refuting all the media reports, makers of megastar Chiranjeevi’s mega project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy said that Big B Amitabh Bachchan has not shelved the period drama and he will join the sets soon. Recently, director Surender Reddy took to social media platform Facebook and shared a snap with the legendary actor.

Mr. Bachchan will be donning the crucial role of Narasimha Reddy’s mentor where ace actor Chiranjeevi will be playing a titular role in the project helmed by Surender Reddy. Makers have already completed the first schedule and of shooting for next schedule will start in Kerala. As quoted by Deccan Chronicle, Amitabh Bachchan may join the sets on March 20 and 21. Earlier, several news reports were surfaced mentioning that Amitabh had opted out from multi-starrer epic drama.




On the 62nd birthday of actor Chiranjeevi, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli had unveiled the motion poster and first look of Chiranjeevi’s 151st flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. Besides Amitabh Bachchan, the film will also have stars like Lady superstar Nayanthara, Egga fame Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The historic biopic will unfold the chronicles of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema region who had great contribution in the battle against British rule.


Planned with the whopping budget of 150 crores, actor turned Producer Ram Charan is bankrolling the mega project of his father under the banner of Konidela production. The film will hit the screen in 2019 with Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi release.
