Paris, February 22: The French Government has introduced migration bill which criminalizes illegal border crossings and speeds up procedures to deport economic migrants. This presented bill is said to be ‘very balanced’ and “aligned with European procedures”.

The French President Emmanuel Macron has been criticized by human rights organizations who have argued the policy represses asylum-seekers, as it will make it more difficult for them to defend their rights.

But in reality, the bill is intended to save the ‘National Cohesion’ says the President. And also he wants to reorganize Islam in France to better integrate adoration and fight fundamentalism. The increasing migration in the country is the topic of concern as it will not only increase the population but also its dominance in the future will increase with the helping hands of these so-called human organizations.

"It's a well-balanced law, in line with European law above all, and it is absolutely necessary that countries like Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, and Sweden have the same type of procedures," Interior Minister Gerard Collomb told.

The plan will reduce France’s “consideration period” for an asylum application to a maximum of six months, down from about one year including appeal. It will also make the illegal crossing of borders an offense punishable by one year in jail and fines.

Official figures show more than 100,000 people applied for asylum in France last year, up 17 percent from 2016.

The largest number of asylum requests came from people from Albania, Afghanistan, Haiti, and Sudan.

Last Month President Macron defended his migration policy as a mix of benevolence and firmness against critics who have accused him of inhumanity.
