Goa CM Parrikar admitted again to the hospital

Panaji, February 26: Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar has been admitted to the hospital once more. Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was admitted to the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Sunday after complaining of stomach ache and discomfort.

 

A hospital official told that the Chief Minister of Goa has been admitted to Goa Hospital after complaining of discomfort. A GMCH official said that Parrikar was brought to the hospital on a wheelchair.

Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said that Parrikar has a problem of lack of water in the body, but he is undergoing treatment in GMCH. Rane said, "We have deployed specialist doctors, who are constantly monitoring their health."

It is noteworthy that earlier Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar had reached Panaji on Thursday after getting a leave from Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and presented the budget in the assembly. He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital from February 15 due to pancreatic diseases.

Due to his absence for some days Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader and Goa PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, member of the ruling coalition, was chosen as the leader of the House.
