Hyderabad, February 26: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has announced that state government would pass a resolution in order to link the centrally-sponsored MNREGA scheme with the agriculture sector. The TRS Chief has urged center to take necessary steps for the hassle-free roll-out of policy pitched by the state government.

Addressing the meeting of farmers, KCR reiterated that TRS government would take effective steps for improving the living standard of the farmer. The Chief Minister informed that Food Processing Units will be set up in every assembly segments. He further added that financial aid would be extended to farmers for rice planting machines.
Launching a frontal attack on BJP led Central government, Rao alleged that Modi government has failed in addressing key issues faced by farmers. Commenting on the state government’s initiative of Rythu Samanvaya Samithis, KCR asserted that state machinery will take all possible steps in safeguarding interests of farmers.
