In his recent media interaction, Madhav observed that state government under the leadership of Mehbooba Mufti is doing well to strengthen the process of good governance. J&K Chief Minister came under fire for naming army officials in the FIR after the developments in Shopian. Madhav admitted that BJP has ideological and issue-based differences with PDP. He further added that BJP would always back senior partner on the plank of development of the valley.
As quoted by The Indian Express, the former RSS leader who looks after the Himalayan underlined that personal views of Mehbooba Mufti would not decide the course of Indo-Pak talks. The top BJP leader pointed that government of India is judiciously addressing the diplomatic issue of India-Pakistan talks. Madhav asserted that the J&K Chief Minister has every right to voice her concern about the national security.
