CM Parrikar is recuperating and to be discharged soon: CMO

Panaji, February 27: Goa CM Manohar Parrikar is under the treatment at Goa Medical College, his health is now stable says the official tweet and he will be discharged soon. He was admitted to the hospital on Sunday due to the complaint of abdominal pain.

The official tweet of CMO Goa says “Hon'ble Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was admitted in GMC for mild dehydration yesterday and is now recuperating. CM is likely to be discharged soon and will resume work thereafter.”

A hospital official told that the Chief Minister of Goa has been admitted to Goa Hospital after complaining of discomfort. A GMCH official said that Parrikar was brought to the hospital in a wheelchair.

 

He was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on February 15th. Where he was undergoing treatment for mild pancreatitis. After getting discharged from there, he returned to Goa on February 22 and presented the state's annual budget with full courage and energy.

Due to his absence for some days Maharashtrawadi Gomantak Party (MGP) leader and Goa PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar, member of the ruling coalition, was chosen as the leader of the House.
