New Delhi/Gandhinagar, February 28: Extending support to the idea of One Nation One election coined by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has reiterated that simultaneous election drive would strengthen the sustainable development programmes of center and state government.
In his recent media interaction, citing administrative issues associated with the model code of conduct Rapani suggested that on the lines of simultaneous polls EC should review the existing system of civic polls for the easy roll out of important administrative decision pertaining to the welfare of the state.
According to media reports Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Amit Shah will be interacting with Chief Ministers of BJP ruled state to brainstorm on the feasibility of One Nation One election.
