Tripura ready for the upcoming Assembly Elections, strewing its final electoral list

Agartala, February 5: In the wake of the upcoming elections, the officials have brought out the final electoral list of voters included to vote in the Tripura Elections. Around 4,197 voters are allotted in this list.

 

The Chief Electoral Officer of Tripura, Sriram Taranikanti said that they have received almost 5,081 forms for the inclusion of names in the electoral roll out of which 4,197 voters form have been accepted. On bifurcating the forms further into male and female voters they have found that around 1,955 are male and 2,242 are female voters.

In the month of January, the state had published the final electoral roll which had total consisting approximately around 25lakh voters. Further adding to the details, the Chief Electoral Officer stated that out of the total voters, 5,647 comprise of the service class sector and 4,197 are newly included voters. Moreover across 50 thousand electorates which include the polling personnel and security personnel are expected to cast their vote through postal ballots.

Voting is seen as one of the major and important right which a person hails and therefore the officials and authorities have decided that the voting system needs to be appropriate. Creating awareness and enabling people to cast votes, the government has made things feasible and effective for the masses. Therefore when the government aims to be making changes and improvement, therefore being a citizen of the country it becomes our noble right to be honest and make truthful use of the benefits.
