After TDP, Telangana government dumps BJP over Union Budget

Hyderabad, February 8: Annoyed with the provisions of union budget presented by BJP-led NDA government Telangana Information Technology Minister KT Rama Rao said that Central government has failed to address the important issues pertaining to the welfare of newly crafted Telangana.

In his recent media interaction, KTR slammed Modi government for presenting ordinary budget ahead of the crucial 2019 general election. The TRS leader stated that BJP will have to face the public wrath for not keeping poll promises.

When asked about of demands of state government, Rao stated that Telangana government was expecting some financial aid for flagship irrigation programmes like Mission Bhagiratha, Kaleshwaram project. The Minister further pointed that unfortunately, Centre did not accept even a single demand.

Responding to the stand of BJP allice partner TDP’s stand on Budget, Rao asserted that even partners of BJP are feeling betrayed by the budget. He went on saying that national parties like BJP and Congress are deliberating undermining the regional forces.
