Uttarakhand to implement CBSE board pattern

Dehradun, February 9: Education Minister of Uttarakhand Arvind Pandey has proposed to abolish the state board and implement CBSE board in the state. Union Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar has given the theoretical consent to implement the CBSE board.

While having a video conference between both the ministers, the proposal was raised for which consent has been given. Pandey told Javadekar that the NCERT curriculum is being implemented from the next session in the state. As a next step, the state government is preparing to introduce the CBSE board in place of Uttarakhand Board.

When Javdekar asked the CBSE chairman who was in the VC asking about this proposal, the CBSE chairman agreed to implement it. Javadekar has asked the state government to immediately send the said proposal.

Education Minister Arvind Pandey says that coming under the CBSE board, the students of the state will get the benefit of getting a national level examination. NCERT courses are already being implemented in the state. There is no problem with affiliation with the CBSE board. This decision will also eliminate the corruption spread on the board. Besides, the resources of the board can be used better in other works. The State Government will soon send it the proposal.
