New Delhi, February 9: Refuting all the allegation levelled by BJP, AICC social media in-charge Divya Spandana clarified that she has never asked party worker to create fake social media accounts in order to boil the social media campaign ahead of the Karnataka assembly election.

Considered to be a key member in Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s core team, the actor turned politician claimed that the alleged video clip which was surfaced on social media platforms was reportedly edited in order to change the context of the original message.

In her recent media interaction, the former Lok Sabha member maintained that she was speaking about the importance of separate accounts keeping cybercrime and related aspects at center. Recently she came under the fire for targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The veteran actress had won the 2013 Mandya Lok Sabha by-election but lost the 2014 poll against C. S. Puttaraju by a margin of 5,500 votes.
