On the heritage of diversity, and on diverse heritage; whether it speaks a language, whether the lamp is burnt in the temple or prays in the mosque, whether it is praying in the church or singing in the gurudwara! My highest priority is to stand by the people of Jordan and secure a better future of all. My fellow Christians and Muslims work together not only for their country but also for those from outside, King Abdullah continued. Compassion, mercy and tolerance - These are values shared by Muslims around the world. They are required for us to act together for a common future, he added. We, both Muslims and non-Muslims, have the power to build a better future for the entire world.

Stressing on the need for a secured future, Abdullah II said, "We cannot afford to allow the young ones to live without hope. We need to build strong successful countries. And it is our defence against turmoil and promise of secured and peaceful future which will help us achieve this."

However different our countries and people are, we have shared responsibility to each other as well as future," said Jordan King Abdullah II.
