New Delhi, March 12: In the Asian Championships, gold medalist Navjot Kaur has reached the second place in the wrestling world rankings, while the 5 wrestlers of India are among the top five in their respective weight categories. Navjot had won a gold medal in women's 65 kg. With this, she has moved to second place in the United World Wrestling (UWW) 's latest world ranking after Finland' s European champion Petra Oli.

Navjot Kaur had played on behalf of the Bangalore warrior in PWL season one. The total number of 9 wrestlers who played in PWL in this list remained in the top 5 spots. Vinesh Phogat, who won the second consecutive silver medal in the Asian Championships, is on second place in the 50kg category.

Bajrang Poonia is in 65 kg of men and Sakshi Malik is in fourth place in women's 62kg. Apart from this, Sangeeta Phogat is ranked 5th in 59kg in Indian wrestlers. The three players won the bronze medal in the Asian Championships.

The United States' world champion Adeline Gray, who represented team Mumbai Maharathis in the first edition, secured the second position under 75kg weight category.
