California/ Mumbai, March 13: Lauding the efforts of Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Jio Infocomm, Netflix CEO Reed Hastings said that Telecom operators and service providers around the world should emulate the business policy framework adopted by India’s top telecom company Reliance.

Reed Hastings, head of world’s biggest streaming platform Netflix in his recent interaction expressed that ventures like Reliance Jio will strengthen the penetration of internet. As reported by Economic Times, Hastings opined that India with its innovative and creative production has a potential to hit the international market with its original series.

Asked about overboard advertising in India, Hastings stated that as content on Netflix is free from advertisements, it will resolve the issues associated with existing ad-supported television in India.
