Centre violating SC directives on Cauvery: PMK Chief Anbumani Ramadoss

New Delhi, March 15: Former Union Minister and Dharmapuri MP Anbumani Ramadoss today slammed NDA government for violating the Supreme Courts guidelines on the issues of Cauvery Management Board. Speaking to the media the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) Chief alleged that BJP government is intentionally delaying the constitution of Cauvery Management Board keeping Karnataka polls in mind.
On February 16, the apex court in its verdict on Cauvery water dispute had directed center to form a body called Cauvery Management Board for the hassle-free implementation of SC directives. In 2014, Ramadoss had backed BJP but departed from the alliance on the issue of Srilankan Tamils.
