New Delhi, March 15: Encouraging naval officers to showcase their talents and attributes the Indian Navy has introduced a new website especially for the veteran officers, widows and dependents of the naval officers. It is a new placement portal has been developed by M/s Silver Touch while the creative look is by M/s Weiden and Kennedy.

Ensuring young talent and fighting force for the nation, some officers leave their job at an early age. In this regard, this placement portal has been developed specially for naval officers who are highly skilled personnel who leave Indian Navy at an age of 30’s and 40’s. This capable and trained pool of disciplined naval veterans is made available to the Corporate Sector by the Indian Naval Placement Agency (INPA) for harnessing their talents.

Enabling job opportunities for the retired officers and keeping the talent of these officers available for other sectors the launch of this new added benefits has been an added benefit for the officers. The initiative to introduce the new portal was with the perspective to increase the opportunities available to the retiring naval personnel. The Indian Navy has signed an Agreement with Monster.com which allows members of INPA to receive job alerts from Monster.com and also avail subsidized career services.

 

Monster India aims to list more than 1,000 opportunities in the next 12 months with a target of increasing this number to 2,000 opportunities by year 2020. The partnership will focus on identifying opportunities in sectors such as capital goods industries, IT, security space, ITeS, MSMEs etc for the uniquely skilled talent pool of veterans of the Indian Navy.
