Amaravati, March 16: Expressing displeasure over the adamant attitude of Narendra Modi led central government for Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam party Chief Nara Chandra Babu Naidu said that TDP was compelled to take the extreme stand. Addressing the state assembly, Babu said,“Had special status been included in the Act in the Lok Sabha then, this situation would not have arisen”. Recounting the efforts of TDP, the Chief Minister underlined that during these four-years, he made several visits and met all stakeholders at the center to meet the legitimate demand of special category status.

Commenting on the issues associated with the bifurcation of united AP, the TDP Chief pointed out that promises made during 2014 are not fulfilled.
