Ram Setu: Swamy to move SC for National Heritage status

New Delhi, March 16: Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy is planning to file a petition with reference to Ram Setu. The former Union minister who has been closely monitoring the Ram Setu campaign took to Twitter and informed about the move. Swamy said, “I am soon moving the SC to direct our Govt to declare Ram Setu as a National Heritage Monument”.

According to media reports, the central government in a plea assured that Ram Setu will not be touched. It also noted that Setu Samudram Project will be implemented without affecting Ram Setu. Earlier, the Supreme Court had directed Narendra Modi led NDA government to clarify its stand on the issue of Ram Setu.
