CBFC clears Kamal Haasan’s Vishwaroopam 2 with U/A certificate

Chennai, March 17: Central board of film certification (CBFC) has finally cleared Kamal Haasan’s much -anticipated outing Vishwaroopam 2. The second installment of spy thriller has been accorded with U/A certificate as quoted by Times of India. The project is helmed by none other than the award-winning actor under the banner of Raajkamal Films International which is Haasan’s home production house.

Besides Kamal Haasan, the film has rich star cast which includes Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Shekhar Kapur and Rahul Bose. Music composer Ghibran has been roped in to score and Shamdat Sainudeen is the director of photography. This will be the first outing of Kamal Haasan after his political foray. Vishwaroopam series is the brainchild of Kamal Haasan where the Ulaganayagan has penned the story and screenplay.The flick will hit the screen in Tamil, Telugu and, Hindi.
In 2013, the first installment made several headlines where the then Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa had banned the prestigious project citing the reason of communal tension in Tamil Nadu.
