Controversial journo Aamir Liaquat Hussain teams up with Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf

Karachi, March 22: Ahead of the crucial general elections, Controversial scribe  Aamir Liaquat Hussain has finally joined hands with Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) party. Earlier, several reports were surfaced about the political collaboration of Aamir with Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf. The former Pakistan skipper also welcomed the move of Aamir. Known for his anti-Nawaz Sharif views, Hussain is likely to contest from Karachi region. He was also associated with Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

From 2002 to 2008 he had served as the member of member of parliament, later he was expelled from MQM party for his controversial remarks. Speaking to the media, Hussain expressed happiness over the developments and thanked Imran Khan for his support. As reported by BBC Hussain said that PTI will be the “last stop" in his political career. Pakistan will go to polls in July this year.
