Raipur, Mar 30: In what could be a big victory for the security forces, as many as 59 Naxalites including 16 women members surrendered in Chhattisgarth’s Naxal-hit Sukma district on Thursday, senior police official said.

PTI quoted SUkma DSP Abhishek Meena as saying that the 59 rebels including 16 women laid down their arms before the police at Errabor village.

Arrest warrants were pending against nine of them, he said.

All of them were residents of villages under the Errabor police station limits, Meena said.
