Odisha launches ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme to address public grievances

Bhuvaneswar, March 4: Involving the common man in development activities of the state, Odisha launched a programme, ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ specially caters to the rural people of the state.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday flagged off mobile video vans for ‘Ama Gaon Ama Vikas’ programme that will move across the State to highlight various welfare schemes at villages in the state. The welfare schemes made for people are important to reach out to the masses specially rural areas. Therefore such programmes will enable people to connect with the government

Highlighting these Wi-Fi enabled latest technology video wall vans, people can directly send their grievances to the Chief Minister’s Office at the Secretariat in Bhubaneswar.

While further addressing in the event he said this initiative administration will help people in solving their grievances instantly.

Keeping in mind about the grievances people face in the rural areas, this initiative was brought into limelight earlier when Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had completed his three years. Enabling the people use methods that would help the government roll out methods to solve their requirements, the state launched this Ama Gaon Ama Vikas which solely means Our village, Our Development.
