Chief Minister Nitish Kumar focuses on Bihar by-elections; pitches for joint campaign

New Delhi / Patna, March 5: The stage is set for the prestigious Lok Sabha and assembly by-elections in the state of Bihar. According to media reports National Democratic Alliance (NDA) under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi will jointly campaign for NDA candidates.

As reported by Economic Times, On March 7, JD(U) National President Nitish Kumar is scheduled to address the poll rally in Araria for BJP  Lok Sabha candidate Pradeep Singh. Whereas senior BJP leader Sushil Modi will hold road shows in support of NDA candidates for assembly polls.

JD(U)’s Abhiram Sharma is contesting from Jehanabad Assembly seat, whereas Rinky Rani Devi, wife of late BJP leader Anand Bhushan Pandey has been fielded from Bhabua Assembly. Other NDA leaders like Union minister Upendra Kushwaha, MP Chirag Paswan will be participating in the poll campaign along with several key leaders. The by-elections are scheduled to be held on March 11.
