Rajinikanth’s Kaala teaser sets YouTube on fire

Chennai, March 5: Finally, the much anticipated power-packed teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala movie was released on Friday. After the successful outing of Kabali, the Thalaivar once again joined hands with Pa. Ranjith for the high octane social-political drama where Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of Mumbai gangster.

The Rajinikanth Nana Patekar starrer Kaala has set Social networking site YouTube on fire by clocking 3,158,733 views on YouTube within few hours of the releases. According to Firstpost, makers of Kaala had rescheduled the teaser as some unedited portion got leaked on the internet. Besides Rajinikanth, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, and Anjali Patil. Santhosh Narayanan has been roped in for music. Kala will hit the screen on April 27 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.



The project is helmed by veteran movie maker Pa. Ranjith and bankrolled by actor Dhanush, who is also the son-in-law of Rajinikanth under the banner of Wunderbar Films in association with Lyca Productions, a leading production house down south. Kaala teaser was the first Rajinikanth film teaser to be released simultaneously on YouTube and Facebook.
