New Delhi, March 9: Today in a regular press briefing, Ministry of External Affairs MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that India would like to work with China on commonalities and deal with differences. MEA also spoke on different topics during a press conference. Speaking on India China relations MEA Raveesh Kumar said that sound development of ties between India & China factor of stability in the region.

Further expressing blow on Pakistan recognizing political party floated by Jamat-Ud-Dawah chief and dreaded terrorist Hafiz Saeed, MEA stressed that the true face of Hafiz Saeed & Pakistan is for all to see. Not only India but also the entire international community feels that the action which should be taken against Hafiz Saeed is not being taken.

Also spoke on Sridevi’s death, he said "As far as I know, the paperwork from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) government had been were handed over to us and on the basis of that the mortal remains were brought to India. Had there been something suspicious, it would have come out by now."

Speaking on pro-Khalistani terrorist Jaspal Atwal, MEA commented that "Jaspal Atwal travelled to India on a valid visa. This was his third visit. Government of India has a conscious policy of outreach to Indian diaspora including misguided elements, who in past may have harbored anti-India sentiments, which they have since renounced. There are well established procedures for grant of visa to foreign travelers which have been followed in this case as well," he added.

MEA Spokesperson Raveesh Kumar also took up questions on deportation of Dawood Ibrahim's aide Farooq Takla, saying that "there's a way to issue and renew passport. We are finding out how this took place in his case. It is very clear that he is a fugitive and is wanted by the Govt of India. We were in touch with the Dubai government and they have deported him."

Speaking on Dalai Lama, he said that Dalai Lama is a revered religious leader and worshipped in India. There is no change in that position. He is free to carry his religious functions here.
