Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani appoints panel to review key Industrial projects

Gandhinagar, April 10: In order to ensure the hassle-free roll-out of big-ticket industrial and development projects, Gujarat government has constituted a high-level committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. The proposed committee will review the implementation of projects worth Rs 500 crore. Besides Rupani, Deputy CM Nitin Patel, Energy Minister Saurabh Patel, Revenue Minister Kaushik Patel, Chief Secretary J N Singh, Chief Principal Secretary to the CM K Kailashnathan and other key officials will be part of monitoring panel.

According to official communication, the Ministerial panel will meet twice a month to take a stock of various projects. The Chief Minister has directed Chief Secretary to look after the projects in the range of Rs 100 crore and Rs 500 crore. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Rupani, a special cell would be set up to keep a close track on the progress of the project.
