252 villages of Jharkhand to carry out ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ from April 14

Ranchi, April 11: 14 April to May 5, Nation will witness ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ in which 252 villages of Scheduled Castes in 21 districts of Jharkhand have been identified.

The Chief Secretary of the State, Sudhir Tripathi, has instructed the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts to participate in this campaign with utmost seriousness and achieve hundred percent target.

This campaign will run in 21058 villages across the country. 252 villages of Jharkhand, which mainly include Palamu's 70, Chatra 38, 32 of Garhwa, 18 in Dhanbad, 17 of Latehar, 14 of Hazaribagh, 13 of Bokaro, 13 in Deoghar, 12 villages of Giridih.

To distribute 100% benefits amongst the 252 villages, various schemes of PM Modi like Ujjwala Yojana, Ujala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Yojna, Suraksha Bima Yojna and Indradhanush scheme will be preached and the officers are directed to implement the program properly.

Chief Secretary, Sudhir Tripathi said that after analyzing the present situation of the villages identified in these schemes, running the campaign from April 14 to May 5, 100% will be cemented. The purpose of this campaign is to establish social coordination, reach out to the poorest families and understand their feelings. The Chief Secretary also has directed that the following programs should be run in all 24 districts of the state.

April 14- Social Justice Day

April 18 – Swachh Bharat Day

April 20 - Ujjawala day

April 24- National Panchayati Raj Day

April 28- Gram Swaraj Day

April 30- Ayushman Bharat Divas

May 2- Farmer's welfare day

May 5 – Aajivika Day
