Karnataka polls: BJP negates reports on S M Krishna's exit

Bengaluru, April 11: 

Refuting all the media reports about S M Krishna's exit from BJP ahead of the crucial Karnataka polls, senior BJP leader R Ashoka said that the former Chief Minister is not joining Congress. Speaking to the media, the former deputy Chief Minister stated that Krishna will join the poll campaign after completing his overseas commitments. He blamed Congress for fuelling the speculative reports about S M Krishna. According to media reports, BJP might offer tickets to Krishna's kin to seek backing from Vokkaliga community.

 
In 2017, the former Foreign affairs minister had quit Congress and Joined BJP in presence of Party Chief Amit Shah at BJP headquarter. From 1999 to 2004, he was the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Later he was appointed as the Governor of Maharashtra. In UPA-2 Krishna served as the External Affairs Minister.
