Uttarakhand sets up Control room to prevent arbitrary of private schools

Dehradun, April 11: In order to stop the arbitrary of private schools and to prevent the fake crisis of NCERT books in the state, the Chief Minister's Office has made a tough stance on complaints of private schools' arbitrary and non-availability of textbooks of NCERT in the market. On the instructions of the Chief Minister's Office, the control room has been made in the District Education Officer's office in Dehradun.

Two officers in the control room will record the parents' complaints. The Chief Minister's Office has asked to file complaints in other districts also regarding the parents in the District Education Officer's office.

Actually, for the past several days, the Chief Minister's mobile app, Facebook page, and Twitter account were being complained by the parents. Among these, there are complaints from some schools on behalf of parents of other private publishers to purchase books other than NCERT books. Some shopkeepers have been complaining of lack of NCERT books in schools due to the over-stocking of NCERT books, the Chief Minister has also complained to the Chief Minister.

The government has ordered the NCERT books to be implemented in the affiliated schools with this session. After this step taken to provide relief to the poor students, most complaints of difficulties in implementing it are being received from Dehradun district. The number of private schools in this district is also the highest.

The Chief Minister's Office, after taking cognizance of these complaints, directed the District Education Officer of Dehradun to set up a control room to solve the grievances of parents. It was also instructed to deploy two dedicated personnel. According to the above instructions, the District Education Officer has made the control of two officers by making the control within 24 hours.

Now parents can contact the two mobile numbers 9412403037 and 9412973903 and Dehradun District Education Officer's e-mail issued by the District Education Officer Office. Not only this, the Chief Minister's Office says that in other districts, complaints can be lodged on the phone numbers of the District Education Officer's office related to parents. Parents have appreciated this decision taken by the Chief Minister in the interest of parents and students, on the social media.
