Justifying the parliamentary disruptions which eventually washed out the whole session, the Young TDP leader claimed that opposition was left with no option than staging a protest against the government. TDP had snapped ties with BJP over the non-fulfillment of special category status to Andhra Pradesh.

MLC Nare Lokesh is the grandson of legendary actor and former Chief Minister NTR and son of Chandrababu Naidu. He was formally inducted into the Party in May 2013, with the responsibility of TDP's youth wing. Lokesh has done his MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
