Hassan, April 12: Launching a serious attack on Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, JD(S) national president H.D. Deve Gowda accused Congress of misusing state machinery ahead of the crucial poll battle. As reported by Deccan Chronicle, the former Prime Minister questioned the functioning of Chief Secretary Ratna Prabha and even went on saying that the top officer is working at the behest of Siddaramaiah.

Referring to the three-month extension to Ratna Prabha, Gowda urged Election Commission of India to intervene in the serious matter of violation of poll guidelines.
