Google launches ‘Desi Version’ of assistant in India

Mumbai, April 12: Google has launched Google Home and Home Mini Smart Speakers in India. Google Home can do many tasks. Google Assistant possesses Ai. Due to AI, they can be done from Daily News to checking their emails and till the time schedule.

Apart from this, calls, traffic information, music play, smart home devices control can be made. In the case of specifications, Google Home supports Wi-Fi dual bands. It supports both Android and iOS platforms. The home speaker will need a wallet socket. Google Home Mini has functions similar to the Google home. This stuff supports audio formats. Google Home has been priced at Rs 9999.

At the same time, Google Home Mini has been introduced at a price of Rs 4,999. Both of these devices will be available exclusively on e-commerce website Flipkart from April 20.

"We will launch Hindi language support later this year so that users can choose the language they are comfortable with. Both the devices understand Indian accents and will respond with uniquely 'desi' contexts," Rishi Chandra, Vice President of Product Management and General Manager of Home Products, Google told.

"We have been working with many local partners to customize Google Home for India. We will offer free six months of Google Play Music -- a music and podcast streaming service -- and special offers from commercial music streaming service Gaana," Chandra added.
