Divisive politics not acceptable in democracy: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar

Bengaluru, April 12: Condemning the practice of divisive politics, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that people will never accept the notion which hampers the social fabric of the country. Addressing the gathering of Janta Dal (U)’s local unit, Kumar opined that politics of ideology will always have upper hand in public life. The JD(U) National President slammed corrupt politicians for maligning the spirit of democracy.

Recalling the contribution of Janta Dal veterans like Shantaveri Gopalagowda, S Venkatram, S Bangarappa and Kagodu Thimmappa, Kumar stated that his outfit is committed to the welfare of the society. On this occasion, the JD(U) leader shared the pro-people policies and reforms initiated by Bihar government.
