This system will shout on electricity stealing in Jharkhand

Ranchi, April 13: Now companies will not be able to steal electricity. Jharkhand Electricity Distribution Corporation Limited (JBVNL) has prepared new software to prevent power theft in companies. Under this, GPRS-GSM Integrant Meter has been prepared which will be connected to the centralized server on the headquarters of the department. There will be other information, including the reading of the company's power unit, on the screen of Central Data Station.

On the screen, there will be a red light next to the names of the companies, which will be burned with the beep voice if the meter is tampered with or the electricity is stolen. Sims will also alert the general manager of the respective area, superintending engineer and executive engineer on mobile. After this the officers will raid in the respective company. After successful testing of the software, the construction of such meters has started in the companies.

So far these meters have been installed in four companies. The price of this one meter is 48 thousand rupees but the department is charging them free of charge. In this, there is a modem along with the meter in which the mobile company's SIM is imposed. JBVNL, in the recommendation of the SIT after the burglary of crores of electricity theft by the induction furnace last year in Kolhan, has built this software specifically with the company Secure of Delhi.

Airtel and Vodafone SIMs are being installed in GSM GPRS Intelligent Meter in all major companies including Coordinator's induction furnace. Actually these meters will run from the network of SIM. If the network is not there, they will be broken by the Headquarter server and Central Data Station. Officials say that in the villages of East Singhbhum and Saraikala at present, Airtel is in the middle of the rural areas and Vodafone network is doing well.

JBVNL's Intelligent Server will also be added to the mobile number of officials. In case of power stolen or molestation in the companies, the related information will be sent to the server authorities' mobile number immediately. Such messages will be sent to the staff of the Executive Engineer, Superintending Engineer and General Manager on this server. After this, the officers will be immediately raided in that company.
