Tamannaah Bhatia to join Chiranjeevi’s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

 

Finally confirming the development, Tamannaah in a statement expressed happiness over her collaboration with the Chiranjeevi’s multi-lingual magnum opus. As reported by The Hindu, the versatile actress expressed her love for the Biopics and termed it as a proud moment of her career. Recently Big B Amitabh Bachchan had joined the sets of Sye Raa and completed crucial portion with Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara. Mr. Bachchan will be playing the crucial role of Narasimha Reddy’s mentor.

Based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, Chiranjeevi will be donning the titular role. Reddy fought against the British establishment much before the historic revolt of 1857 in Rayalaseema region of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh. The period drama will be helmed by Surender Reddy and actor- Producer Ram Charan will bankroll the project under the banner of Konidela Production Company.

Besides Amitabh Bachchan, the film will also have stars like Lady superstar Nayanthara, Egga fame Kichcha Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi and Jagapathi Babu in pivotal roles. The film will hit the screen in 2019 with Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi release. Tipped to be the Baahubali of 2019, the project is made with the whopping budget of Rs 150 crore. On the 62nd birthday of actor Chiranjeevi, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli had unveiled the motion poster and first look of Chiranjeevi’s 151st flick Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy.
