Awakening and ensuring safety for women in the state, Haryana CM launches ‘Jagriti’ project

Chhattisgarh, April 17: Ensuring women safety at an optimum level, Haryana Chief Minister highlighted the need to strengthen safety for women. In order to curb crime against women, the project ' Awakening ' was launched to dispel gender inequality in Jhajjar today. In this regard, ‘Durga Shakti Vahini Special Force’ will be constituted in the state.

 

The Chief Minister gave this information on the occasion of launching special project 'Jagriti' to remove gender inequality and said that unethical behavior towards women will not be tolerated in any way.

 

In another attempt launched for safety of girls, Student Transport Safety scheme, the daughters will be provided with free transport service to the Institute of Education, whether to schoolgirls to any of the five requisitions at any educational institution and their corresponding Auto rickshaw from the transport service from Bus to school.

 
  

Nodal officers shall be appointed under this scheme, in the educational institutions which will entrust the demand for schoolgirls Pahivahan requirements. The main objective of Jagriti Project is to feel safe in the daughters ' public places, workplaces and traffic.

 

Aiming to overcome gender inequality by promoting social brotherhood, provisions are made for the education to students in Haryana; the traffic format is also operating on 131 routes for female special buses.

 

Further he added that Haryana is the second state after Madhya Pradesh in the country where provision has been made for the death penalty in the law for the culprits of misconduct with girls below 12 years of age.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister also announced the students transport protection scheme, under which the girls will be provided free transport services to girls in the state.
