Government to ensure affordable housing for all: Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani

Ahmadabad, April 19: Underlining the importance of Real estate sector in the overall development of the state, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani said that state government’s affordable housing scheme will fulfill the dream of common man. Speaking at the award function of CNBC Awaz, Rupani stated that government will ensure the smooth implementation of general development control regulations under Gujarat town planning and urban development act-1976. The Chief Minister asserted that state government is committed to the welfare of poor and weaker section.
Terming Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 as path-breaking step by Narendra Modi led BJP government, Rapani claimed that the reformist act has paved the way for more transparent and effective ecosystem for real estate sector. Reiterating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of housing for all, the Chief Minister stated that Gujarat’s affordable housing mission will contribute to the expansion and development of real estate business. Elaborating on the policies of Urban development, Rupani said that government is taking all necessary steps to ensure the modern housing facilities availability of civic amenities to every citizen.
