Karnataka polls: BS Yeddyurappa files nomination from Shikarpuri, predicts massive victory

Shikarpuri, April 19: Karnataka BJP Chief and Chief Ministerial Candidate B.S. Yeddyurappa today filed his nomination from Shikarpuri assembly segment in Shimoga district. On this occasion, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh, Union Minister Anant Kumar, and other state BJP officials were present.

Speaking to the media after completing the procedure, the former chief Minister predicted the BJP to get record votes in Shikarpur. The 225-member Karnataka assembly will go to polls on May 12 and results will be declared on May 15. Shikaripur is considered as the stronghold of Yeddyurappa where he will take on Congress block president G B Malatesh.
