Dehradun, April 21: In order to motivate the youth of the state, CM Trivendra Singh Rawat on Friday held 'Dev Bhoomi Dialogue' which directly linked him to the public. Chief Minister interacted with young talent who took the initiative in self-employment and youths from all parts of the state. The Chief Minister said that important suggestions from among the youth will be brought under the purview of law and rules.

Emphasizing the need for ‘self-employment and not employment', he said that not only unemployment will be removed from the state, but Uttarakhand can be empowered by the youth’s talent. For this, both the youth power and the government will have to take steps together.

CM Rawat added that the suggestions from young talent of self-employment are the voice of time. There are currently only 30 million government employees in the country. In such cases how many jobs can be given, can be estimated. So, there is a self-employment option and also employment can be given to others. This will also help in getting rid of migrations.

He said that there is the power in Uttarakhand to end unemployment and create self-employment in next 10-12 years. In this, the government will extend all possible assistance. He mentioned about the growth centers of development at the Panchayat level in the center of economic activities and said that youth should also set up enterprises there. He also said that the government has a special focus on education and health. Several steps have been taken for this. He also called to come forward and fight against corruption.
