New Delhi, April 23: Nowadays, a series of trends have been set by a grand old party Congress. Evils showcasing themselves as a God and Destroyers trying to become a savior. Yes, you heard it right. Congress Party who insulted judiciary by bringing in impeachment for Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra is now showcasing themselves as a savior of a constitution by launching so-called 'Save the Constitution' campaign.

Hours after, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu rejected the impeachment motion of Chief Justice of India (CJI) Dipak Misra which was brought in by Congress and its allies accusing him of five counts of misbehaviour and misusing authority, the supreme leader of grand old party Rahul Gandhi launched a so-called 'Save the Constitution' campaign to save the democracy and constitution as well.

During a poll campaign in Karnataka on Monday, Congress president Rahul Gandhi launched his party's nationwide 'Save the Constitution' campaign aiming to highlight the alleged attacks on the Constitution and Dalits in recent times. The so-called campaign of Congress will continue till April 14 next year - the birth anniversary of Dalit icon BR Ambedkar in a bid to attract Dalit community and gain their votes in upcoming state elections and 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

However, launching the 'Save the Constitution' campaign with a fiery speech, Rahul Gandhi also showcased his lack of knowledge as he gave all the credits of making a constitution, Parliament, Supreme Court and other institutions to the Congress party. It was sad that Rahul Gandhi who generally talks most of Dalit empowerment did not give any credit to Dalit icon BR Ambedkar for making the constitution.

Meanwhile, Rahul Gandhi who promises to fight for Dalit today not only insulted a Dalit but also tried to ruin the credibility of Presidency as he criticized PM Narendra Modi led central government for appointing RSS ideologues to occupy important positions.

The Congress Chief further warned PM Modi led central government saying that the people of India will speak their Mann ki Baat in 2019. Taking a jibe at PM Modi, he also added that "Electoral victory is his only focus."

"I am not allowed to speak for even 15 minutes in Parliament because they know that if I talk for even five minutes, they would lose the next 4-5 elections," Rahul concluded. Soon after Rahul Gandhi finished his speech, the whole Congress vowed to support his movement.

On the other side, BJP President Amit Shah launched a scathing attack on Rahul Gandhi via his Twitter account saying, “Our institutions which are an outcome of our Constitution today need to be saved from the onslaught of the Congress Party. The Congress Party has spared no institution and is attacking the EC, Supreme Court, Army for petty political gains.”

“By repeatedly saying the Congress made the Constitution, @RahulGandhi is carrying forward his family tradition of insulting Dr. Ambedkar. The Nehru-Gandhi family insulted him when he was alive and his humiliating him even more now. Shameful and petty.” he said.

Amit Shah concluded saying, “If there is one party that has destroyed the spirit of our Constitution, it is the Congress. They do not want rule of democracy but they want rule of dynasty. Hence this is a farce of a movement by their President.”
