At least 18 Afghani troopers killed in terrorist attack led by Taliban

Kabul, April 24: A poison of ‘terrorism’ spread by Pakistan in Afghanistan has brought the devastation of the country. At least 18 Afghani troopers including 4 police officers were killed after the checkpoint was attacked by a group of terrorists belonged to Taliban terror outfit in Bala Buluk district.

 

Notably, a group of terrorists belonged to Taliban terror outfit led an ambush at the Afghani troops' checkpoint in Bala Buluk district in which total of 18 security men were killed. However, in a counter attack, all six Taliban terrorists were eliminated. Immediately, after the attack, Taliban claimed the responsibility.

The spokesman for the governor of the western Farah Province, Mohammad Naser Mehri confirmed that at least 14 security men were killed when their checkpoint was attacked by Taliban militants in the province's Bala Buluk district. “Six Taliban fighters were killed and three others were wounded in the battle, which lasted several hours,” he added.

Recently, as many as 57 people were killed in Kabul when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the doorway of an ID distribution centre. Hours after the attack, six more people were killed in Baghlan's Pul-e-Khumri city, when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb near another voting centre.

Importantly, the attacks have multiplied in recent days as parliamentary and district council elections scheduled for October 20 this year. Last month on the occasion of Persian New Year, a suicide bomber killed at least 26 people in Afghanistan.
