China’s blooming flowers welcome Indo-China’s warming ties: PM Modi, Xi Jinping take a walk along East Lake

Wuhan, April 28: The whole world witnessed the warming meet that took place between India-China on Friday, that didn’t stop there as today morning Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with President Xi Jinping went on ‘lake-walk’ amidst beautiful spring where even flowers are blooming to welcome Indo-China. 

PM Modi and Xi Jinping today took a walk along the East Lake in Wuhan city.

Spokesperson of External Minister Affairs, Raveesh Kumar said “Taking India-China relations on a forward-looking path, charting the future direction of the relationship! PM @narendramodi and Chinese President Xi take a walk together along the East Lake in Wuhan today morning.”

 
 
Also, PM Modi and President Xi Jinping also went on the houseboat on East Lake. 
 
The new era has begun after India-China’s informal summit. On Friday, the Indo-China leaders kicked off their informal meet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with President Xi Jinping held delegation-level talks. PM Modi warm-heartedly thanked Xi Jinping for welcoming him to Wuhan, saying “the people of India feel really proud that I’m the first Prime Minister of India, for whom, you (Chinese President) have come out of the capital twice to receive me.”

Contributing for ‘World Peace’, India- China both can play a big role in world peace, said PM Modi.

On Friday, PM Modi was accorded with cultural welcome by President Xi Jinping at Hubei Provincial Welcome. Both of the leaders shared soul calming gestures while touring the museum in Wuhan city. Two-day friendly summit amidst PM Modi and Xi Jinping kicked off at Central China's Wuhan city.

With this informal summit, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Modi are panned to exchange views on a range of issues of bilateral and global importance. They will discuss their visions and priorities for development, in context of current and future international situations, PM Modi said before leaving for Wuhan.

This informal summit aims to realign India-China ties and track both nations to work together.
