Lucknow, April 3: Uttar Pradesh Deputy CM Keshav Prasad Maurya today slammed BSP Chief Mayawati over the nationwide protest against the judgment of the Supreme Court. Speaking to the media, Maurya accused Mayawati of fuelling violent protest. Questioning the intent of BSP National President, the Deputy Chief Minister stated that the review petition has already been filed by the central government but parties like BSP want to politicize the issue as they want to promote anarchy in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Meanwhile, Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar asserted that Government is committed towards rights of Dalits and their safety. He lambasted at Congress and other parties for inciting people and spreading violence. Yesterday, a nationwide protest was called by the political parties and various SC/ST organizations against the recent judgment of the apex court over SC/ST protection act.
