With ‘100 % electrification’, ‘employment opportunities, BJP Ace Amit Shah promises ‘good governance’ for Odisha

Bhawanipatna, April 4: “Odisha has everything, but needs a good governance to pull in the development opportunities for people and state equally,” said Bhartiya Janata Party President Amit Shah while addressing the public meeting in Bhawanipatna in Odisha today. 

Addressing the public meeting, BJP Chief lambasted CM Naveen Patnaik for poor governance. He said that 12,442 villages are not connected by roads in Odisha; also Naveen Patnaik has failed to create employment opportunities for youth. 

 

Promising the better connectivity, Amit Shah said that a BJP CM will connect these villages in just 2 years. Talking about employment opportunities, he said that “we want to build Odisha where youth do not have to leave their home for employment.”

 

He also highlighted that the Congress Party and Opposition is responsible for the 10 people who have died during the #BharatBandh.

 

Speaking on electrifying Odisha, Amit Shah said that Modi government will work to bring electricity to every household of Odisha, before 2021 through Saubhagya Yojna. He promised electricity connection to every house in the state by 2021 and concrete houses to people by 2022.

Clarifying about SC/ST reservation system, Amit Shah said his party supports reservation system for the development of socially and educationally backward people and there is no intension of withdrawing or opposing it.

Further he said that health services within Odisha have been eroded, Modi government has decided to provide health insurance of up to 5 lakh to the poor of the country. Amit Shah pointed out that 8.40 lakh children are suffering from malnutrition despite of aid being sent by the central government.
