New York, April 4: Pakistan was always left behind in all the sectors including development, economy, energy and many others things which can make its citizens proud; but there’s one sector where it has topped the list. Guess What? Can't guess? Then the whole world should know that Pakistan has topped in the list of spreading terrorism which was consolidated by United Nations on Wednesday.

Terrorism is used to create indiscriminate violence intentionally to create terror among people in a bid to achieve a financial, political, religious or ideological aim. There are many countries including United States of America, India and UK etc which are affected worst by terrorism and the bloodsheds spread by those terrorist groups.

But Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Libya and many other countries have been actively involved in spreading terrorism across the world. However, amongst all these countries, Pakistan is a centre point where terrorism and terrorist groups get safe haven. Pakistan is the king of spreading and harbour terrorism and terrorist groups in other countries.

However, Pakistan was exposed long ago for supporting terrorism and therefore many countries have sidelined Pakistanis. The United Nations have also cemented Pakistan’s massive role in spreading terrorism. Notably, the United Nations Security Council's (UNSC) updated a list of people and companies it has designated 'terrorists' features as many as 139 Pakistanis, many from the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) and the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM).

These 139 are identified as individuals who have lived in Pakistan or have operated from the country or have been associated with groups that used Pakistani territory for their operations. The list also includes fugitive gangster Dawood Ibrahim and 26/11 Mumbai terror mastermind Hafiz Saeed.

The UNSC has listed LeT as well as its various affiliates, including al-Mansoorian, Paasban-i-Kashmir, Paasban-i-Ahle Hadith, Jamaat-ud Dawa and Falah-i-Insaniat Foundation. Meanwhile, on top of the UN's terrorists list is al Qaida's Ayman al-Zawahiri, who was 9/11 mastermind Osama bin Laden's number two man.

Other terrorist outfits the UN says are based in Pakistan or linked to Pakistanis include Al Rasheed Trust, Harkatul Mujahideen, Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan, Wafa Humanitarian Organisation, JeM, Rabita Trust, Ummah Tameer-i-Nau, Afghan Support Committee, Revival of Islamic Heritage Society, Lashkar-i-Jhangvi, Al-Harmain Foundation, Islamic Jihad Group, Al Akhtar Trust International, Harkatul Jihad Islami, Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan, Jamaatul Ahrar and Khatiba Imam Al-Bukhari.
