Kalpana Chawla and Sunita Williams were the first two Indian origin women to fly to space. Here is one more rising inspiration- Divyashree Shinde from Borivali’s slum area secured herself to become a part of Indian Space Research Organization. Congratulations!

Divya Shree, who grew up in the slums of Borivli, was elected to ISRO and started working from Monday. While extending the first day's journey in ISRO, she said, former President and researcher Dr. A.P.J. I will always remember my first step in the campus of the Space Research Institute (ISRO) of Abdul Kalam.

Divya Shree completed her graduate degree in Electronic Engineering, has always been excited about the technology of rocketing, testing and research related to it. So now I have started to look at the things I have never ever looked at. I have been listening to ISRO so much and about researchers in ISRO; but now I am happy that I am going to be part of the research here, Divyashree said.

Further, in an excitement, she added that even though I have not yet started my actual work in the organization, seeing this institution is also a different experience. With me, three more girls and ten children joined the team in a 13-member team of researchers. The atmosphere in this mountainous area, its greenery is a very different experience for the girl like me who have been brought up in small slums of Mumbai.

Kicking off her new journey, now Divyashree Shinde has set an example for the world to look up and get motivated to pursue their dreams. Indians are really proud of them.
