Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kaala cleared with U/A certificate

Chennai, April 5: Central board of film certification (CBFC) has finally cleared Superstar Rajinikanth’s much anticipated social drama Kaala. The high stake multilingual project has been accorded with U/A certificate. As reported by The News Minute, near about 14 cuts have been suggested by the film body. According to local media reports Vinod Kumar, executive director of Wunderbar films has confirmed the development of Kaala’s censor formalities.

The Rajinikanth Nana Patekar starrer Kaala teaser has already stormed all the social networking sites. Besides Rajinikanth, the film also stars Huma Qureshi, Nana Patekar, and Anjali Patil. Santhosh Narayanan has been roped in for music. Kala will hit the screen on April 27 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, but makers might reschedule the release date due to the ongoing state-wide strike of Tamil film produces.

After the successful outing of Kabali, the Thalaivar once again joined hands with Pa. Ranjith for the high octane social-political drama where Rajinikanth will be seen in the role of Mumbai gangster. The project is helmed by veteran movie maker Pa. Ranjith and bankrolled by actor Dhanush, who is also the son-in-law of Rajinikanth under the banner of Wunderbar Films in association with Lyca Productions, a leading production house down south.
