AP special category tag: TDP lawmakers to meet President Kovind

New Delhi/Amaravati, April 6: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said that TDP lawmakers will meet President Ram Nath Kovind on the issue of special category status. Addressing the teleconferencing meeting of Telugu Desam MPs, Babu directed TDP members to intensify the efforts for Andhra Pradesh’s legitimate demands. The Chief Minister accused BJP of adopting divide and rule method to defame the ruling party of the state.
On this occasion, Naidu asserted that yellow army is ready to face any challenge for the sake of five crore people of Andhra Pradesh. He urged TDP representatives to gear up for the big battle against the adamant stand of BJP led NDA government. Recounting the post-bifurcation polls in 2014, the TDP National president stated that BJP will be wiped out from the state if legitimate demands are not addressed.
